Hi, let me introduce myself.
My name is Davy. I was born and raised in Vosselaar, Belgium in the early 70’s. I grew up in a quiet area near the city of Turnhout. I have a brother and sister, both older than me. My parents have taught me to be respectful and to appreciate the little things in life. Unfortunately, I lost my dad in 2014 due to a cerebral
I fell in love in 1994 with a sweet girl, who said yes to me in 2000. After getting married we decided to build our own house, our own warm nest. We made construction plans and asked the bank for a loan. What a struggle it was! Building a house isn’t easy. It’ s a serious test of your relationship, I can tell you that! We moved to Arendonk in 2004. We experienced many financial struggles but after all those years we are still happily together and our relationship is now stronger than ever.
After graduating as a “furniture maker, ” I worked several years with wood but decided to follow my passion and went for a “PC and Network Technician” degree. After more than 15 years, I’m still working in the IT sector. This digital world is really my kind of thing.
Talking about passions, I love driving my Mazda MX-5 (1992)! I never thought that such a little car could ever win my heart and put such a smile on my face.
But now it is time for me to change my life again. I want something new, a change in my daily routine. I want more time for the people I care for, family and friends, near and far. I want to go out more, and travel more. I would like to see more of this beautiful world and enjoy life! Life is too short to ponder on things you will never have. Life is too short and unpredictable not to live it exactly as you please.
So, I want to create more time for myself instead of working a 9 to 5 job. That’s why I started something that I thought I would never do. I’ve learned that I can design my own life with the help of coaches and mentors. It’s mind-blowing and inspiring! Many people tell me I’ve changed in a very positive way.
I try to write down the stories of the time that I create for myself in a blog and other things that comes to my mind. You can find them on My Blog Page and, if you like it, feel free to leave any comments. You can also follow me on Facebook and Instagram or other social media pages that you see in the top right corner.
